This program serves children 15 years of age or younger who are uninsured and may qualify for our FQHC sliding-fee scale discount. The program provides dental hygiene services including cleanings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants and radiographs. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Program # 1006 Address: XXXXXXXXXX This program provides a full range of outpatient dental services for clients who are currently receiving case work services through the Maine Department of Health & Human Services (through the former Department of Behavioral and Developmental Services). This program treats only adults who are mentally retarded or have a chronic mental illness. These services are available on a sliding fee scale basis. Intravenous (IV) sedation services are available. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Hygiene: Monday-Friday (hours vary); IV Sedation: Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Program # 1007
This program provides a full range of outpatient dental services, including oral health education, for children and adults. A pediatric dentist is available on a part-time basis. Services are available on a sliding fee schedule for uninsured residents of the program's service areas of southern, central and western Maine who meet income guidelines.
Program #1008 This program recruits dentists from the Greater Portland area to make free dentures for pre-qualified residents of Cumberland County. To qualify, people must verify that they are at 125% of poverty level or below and have had a dental evaluation. The candidates are financially responsible for the dental exam and any necessary extractions. The patient is also responsible for scheduling and complying with all the appointments.
Program #1009 Address: XXXXXXX This program offers dental hygiene services that include oral examination, personalized oral hygiene instruction, blood pressure screening, radiographic survey (x-rays), teeth cleaning, fluoride treatments and sealant placement. These services are available to the general public and there are no income restrictions. This is a teaching clinic so appointments may require more time. Patients do not see a dentist, but work with a student hygienist. Services NOT provided include: fillings and restorations, extractions, crowns, root canals, orthodontics, dentures or bridges. Hours of operation are 8:30 AM -4:30 PM. The clinic is only open from September through April.

This program provides a full range of outpatient dental services, including oral health education for children and adults. Services are available on a sliding fee schedule for uninsured residents of the program's service areas of southern, central and western Maine who meet income guidelines. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Program #1011
This program serves Franklin County adults and children. A sliding fee scale is offered for uninsured residents who meet income guidelines. A range of preventive and restorative services is provided, as well as extractions. All patients receive education and a complete oral evaluation. Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday and Thursday; 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday; closed Wednesday; and from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday.
Program #1012
This program offers primary care dental services. The program accepts patients of all ages on an appointment basis (no walk-ins). Fee discounts are available and based on federal income guidelines (applications require proof of income). Emergency services, diagnostic exams, extractions, cleanings and fillings are provided, and the Dental Center is handicapped accessible. Hours of operation are Monday -Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Program #1013
This program provides accessible, affordable and comprehensive dental care services. Eligible patients are income-qualified to a sliding fee schedule based on federal poverty guidelines. Patient balance is due when services are rendered. This program does not have a cancellation policy, nor will it maintain open billing accounts for patients. Hours of operation are Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 7:30 AM – 6 PM

This program provides a full range of general dentistry and hygiene services for persons receiving psychiatric treatment through an agency funded by the Department of Health & Human Services. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Program # 1015
This program offers a range of preventive and restorative services including teeth cleaning, fluoride treatments, x-rays, fillings and extractions. Oral health education is part of every visit. A sliding fee may be offered to residents of Kennebec and Somerset counties based on income and household size. Hours of operation: The program is open 4 days a week by appointment only.

Note : This program is seasonal. The phone number may not be active at all times. This programs provides quality pediatric and adolescent dental care for ages 1 though 20 years. Services include acute dental care and preventive hygiene services, comprehensive assessments for oral diseases and conditions, individualized preventive dental health programs based upon caries-risk assessments and periodontal disease risk assessments. Referral services include oral surgeons, pediatric hospital-based oral restorative programs and orthodontists.Oral health education is provided to all patients. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This program is a non-profit oral public health agency providing mobile and stationary dental and hygiene services to low-income children and adolescents in Head Start and Childcare programs, WIC programs and public schools throughout the State of Maine with The EarlySmiles and MaineSmiles school-based dental programs.Oral health programming is individually tailored to meet the needs of the different agencies, programs and schools served by the mobile dental programs. The programs range from hygiene services to full dental programs with traveling dentists, X-rays and restorative capabilities.
Program #1018
This program provides exams, cleanings, sealants, simple fillings, extractions, and acrylic partials to both adults and children, whose family earnings are at or below federal poverty guidelines. Only residents of Knox County and those towns immediately next to Knox County are eligible for the dental program. Priority is given to those who need dental care for pain and infection control, to improve employability, and to children who have been unable to receive dental care. Appointments are set up by the program's staff, who will schedule patients into participating dental offices. There is a sliding fee scale for clinic services. The clinic offers dentures to those who qualify for them. Some of the qualifications for dentures are pain control, employment and self-esteem. For those who do not qualify for dentures through this program, the program's staff will work with patients to find other resources. Volunteer dentists and hygienists staff the dental offices, generously donating their time and expertise.

Preventive services are provided by a Public Health Dental Hygienist and include prophylaxis, dental screenings, fluoride varnish and oral health education

Program #1021
This program provides: oral examination, scaling and polishing of teeth, oral hygiene instructions, dental x-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants. There are no residence requirements or income restrictions. Fees are low and are charged only to cover the cost of the clinical operation. This program provides primary and specialty care, mental health and dental services in Lincoln, Medway and West Enfield. Services are located in Lincoln and target Penobscot County residents. The office is fully equipped to provide education, prevention, and restorative care to people of all ages. Dental services include hygiene, x-rays, sealants, scalings, fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and dentures. This program accepts patients of all ages. Financial assistance is available; services are available on a sliding fee scale based upon income levels and household size. Emergency exams and services are generally available for patients with pain, swelling, or infection. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Program #1023 This program provides a full range of diagnostic and preventive dental care as well as restorative, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, dentures and emergency palliative treatment for children and adults. The program employs a pediatric dentist, two general dentists, two hygienists, three dental assistants and office staff on a full-time and part time basis. Oral health education is offered to all patients. A sliding fee scale is available for patients whose family incomes meet the program ’s guidelines (based on federal income levels). This program provides high quality care to all community members, including low income, uninsured and under-insured community members who may not otherwise have our services available to them. Hours of operation are 8:30: AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday.
Program # 1024 Address: XXXXXXXX This program serves primarily children and adults from Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties on a sliding fee basis. A range of preventive, extraction, and restorative services are available. Hours are by appointment. A pediatric dental specialist is on staff. *This program also provides a mobile dental clinic, serves children in northern and eastern Maine, with locations in Aroostook, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Somerset Counties. Program # 1025 Address: XXXXXXXXXX This program treats children and young adults through the age of 20 whose families are of low to moderate income and/or are receiving financial assistance. The primary service area is Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and N.E. Cumberland counties, although the program will treat children from all locations. Patients who do not receive financial assistance are billed according to the programs’s sliding fee scale. Hours of operation are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday -Thursday

Sliding fees are offered. Office hours are Monday Wednesday and Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Tuesday – Thursday 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

This program serves children and adults, providing family dental care with a full range of preventive and restorative services, including prosthetics and minor oral surgery. A sliding fee scale is available for those whose family incomes meet the program's income guidelines. The following procedures are not covered under the sliding fee program, including visits related to these procedures: dentures, partial dentures, occlusal guards, bridgework, crowns, and denture repairs that need to be sent out.
